The flavors are dark, bold and richly expressive, with plenty of Serralunga volume, but also considerable aromatic presence, all nicely balanced by precise tannins. A huge, resonant finish laced with the essence of rose petals, mint and sweet red berries adds to the wine's considerable appeal. The Riserva spent
