Description
21 ha parcel raised in 80% new wood)
Many of its peers show the inky and concentrated fruit of this hot and dry vintage
seamless and alluringly sweet
While La Tâche is almost by definition a superbly elegant wine there is also always an inner core of muscle
the deep garnet-purple colored 2014 Thorevilos Proprietary Red has a very meaty nose with charcuterie
Armailhac other_regions_italy 21 ha parcel raised in50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 36% Merlot, 12% Cabernet Franc, 2% Petit Verdot. Tasted blind. Blackish crimson. Sweet Cabernet fruit but slightly unformed. Very juicy and a bit simple. Then quite a welter of dry tannins. Not a charmer at this stage anyway. Just a tad brutal.
