Every spring, right after Cinco de Mayo, Brovo's team makes the annual pilgrimage to the forests on the side of Mount Baker to hand forage the new growth buds of young Douglas fir trees taking no more than one third from any single tree, cutting about six inches of new spring growth that carries the
